Monicah (approx. 7 years old)and her 3 siblings were reported to the Children's office in Mwingi because they had been abandoned by their mother and their father was working during the day and was unable to care for the children. The situation was not good as the children were lacking basic needs including food, clothing, and warm clean place to sleep at night. Monicah and her siblings were committed through the courts on 07/12/2016 for 3 years, to the care of FAME Mission while the officials search for the mother. The father will also be monitored in the hopes that his situation will improve and the children will one day be able to return to him.
